Daniel will premier a commissioned work by composer Emma Lou Diemer with the USC Oriana Women's Choir. The commissioned work, Evening Promise, is a setting of a poem by Paul Willis, former poet laureate of Santa Barbara.  The premier will take place in Oriana's joint concert with the USC Apollo Men's Chorus on April 14, 2018 at USC's Newman Recital Hall.

Daniel joins DMA colleagues Rina Ritavoiu and Irene Apanovitch-Leites in leading the women of the Oriana Women's Choir in a concert of music by Mendelssohn, Bernstein, Britten, Emma Lou Diemer, and others. The Apollo Men's Chorus will also perform the second half of the concert. Concert to take place in USC's Newman Recital Hall at 8pm.
