Daniel Gee is an active performer and teacher in the Santa Barbara and Los Angeles areas, having a broad range of experience as a orchestral, studio, and freelance musician. His teachers have included Trevor Handy, John Sant'Ambrogio, Nona Pyron, Jim Lee, and John Krovoza.
As a cello teacher, Daniel has taught students of all ages, and maintains an active studio of private students in the San Gabriel Valley area. He has had several students successfully audition for the Pasadena Youth Symphony Orchestra program. He teaches at Neighborhood Music School in Arcadia, as well as privately. He also serves a cello coach for youth orchestras in the broader LA area including the Pasadena Youth Symphony Orchestras and the Santa Monica Youth Orchestra.
